Recent Cyberattacks Impacting Municipalities

It’s come to our attention that recent cyberattacks have impacted multiple municipal jurisdictions affecting current and future Municipal Lien Search orders.

Hernando County recently announced that many services are currently down and they’re unable to fulfill Municipal Lien Search requests at this time.

We’re alerting customers because orders placed within the following jurisdictions are impacted at this time:

The City of Pensacola was down but now they’re back up, however, we’re seeing delays.

Departments affected include Property Appraisers, Property Assessment, Code Enforcement, and others.

Municipalities are unable to give an estimate as to when services and systems will be restored. Fulton County, which includes the City of Atlanta, was down for nearly a month after its systems were compromised in January.

We are staying on top of these developments and will fulfill orders within affected jurisdictions as soon as we are able. In some cases, partial results will be offered. Customers can continue to place orders for properties in these jurisdictions to get a jump start on when the city or county is back up and running.

At this time, Hernando County can provide code enforcement information, but permit information may not be accurate. We’re allowing customers to choose if they prefer to (1) receive a partial municipal lien search report without permit information, and provide permit information when available, (2) or receive whatever permit information is available with a disclaimer about the accuracy.

PropLogix customers with any questions about their order should contact their account manager or email support@proplogix.com.
